Children and Youth Ministry
The Mission of the Young People’s Department is to promote a desire for discipleship, worship, ministry, and evangelism. The objectives are as follows: (1) to help young people accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; (2) to help young people develop a closer relationship with God; (3) to help young people become witnesses for Christ through evangelism; (4) to train young people in Christian Education and Leadership; and (5) to provide opportunities to participate in Church and community related activities. The Children’s Ministry is for ages four to age 11. The children participate in Children's Church, 7th District Association, Area Wide Youth Revival, and evangelism activities. The Youth Ministry is for ages 12 to 18. Our youth participates in a variety of training activities such as Area-wide Youth Week, Louisiana Baptist Youth Encampment, 7th District Baptist Association, Area Wide Youth Revival, and evangelism activities. The Young People’s Department serves under the guidance of the Women’s Home Ministry
