It is with great joy and enthusiasm that Reverend A. L. Williams, II celebrates the awesome providence of God as he serves as a herald of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ at the New Sunlight Baptist Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He considers it his greatest privilege and priority to grapple with how Scripture affirms the possibilities attached to our faith while addressing the ills and inconsistencies of our broken society.

Reverend Williams exercises his God-given gifts of preaching and teaching with confidence while maintaining a posture of humility. He speaks with tremendous clarity and astute conviction as he strives to inspire both seasoned and emerging generations; and moreover, he exudes an overflowing joy in every occasion afforded him to participate in the redemptive ministry and work of the Lord in the twenty-first century.

Furthermore, Reverend Williams endeavors to build intergenerational bridges for the purpose of sustaining the life of the church and labors diligently to impact the broad spectrum of communities which exist beyond the walls of the church.

Finally, Reverend Williams is honored to be the husband of his beautiful wife, Alexius as well as the father of two precious daughters, Alexandria and Alivia. He considers it a privilege to labor and lead as the priest of his home while also pointing people to Jesus Christ, the agent of redemption and transformation, the Son of God and the Savior of humanity.
