The Laymen League Ministry’s goal is to actively pursue the men of New Sunlight Baptist Church to become like Christ and to connect to HIS Word. Furthermore, it is its mission to aide them in developing a personal, lifelong, obedient relationship with Jesus. As we become more Christ-like in our attitudes and actions, we become spiritually stronger men, husbands, fathers, providers, and spiritual leaders of our homes and communities, thus winning, growing, and training God’s man in Christ. We believe that it is necessary to provide social and spiritual opportunities for men to interact with one another. “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Proverb 27: 17.
